RESPIRO - BREATH

Synonymous with renewal and transformation, “Breath” is both the theme and direction for the new Visionnaire collection for 2018.

The assiduous search for balance between material and shape, between past and present, results in a thoughtful and meditative space. Each piece, like breath oxygenating a space, find their expression in metal,
wood and marble, in stone, leather, wool and raffia, ushering in the sensation of nature in harmonious arrangement, devoid of excess. Exquisite craftsmanship remains the defining value upon which Visionnaire stands: products with technical content executed with style and a strong personality. Though Italy’s rich history of art, cinema and the visual arts have always provided a deep well of inspiration, this year the creative direction also turns to the East, creating an elegant and refined mix.

The colour palette draws from the nuanced tones of the earth and forests, rendering the natural element the true protagonist, and this year, bamboo provides the symbolism of rebirth and potential energy.
Inspired by Zhang Yimou’s scenography in “House of Flying Daggers” (2004), a beauty suspended in time was enveloped in an imperceptible veil of poetry. “A cinematographic experience that I was interested in recreating with the new collection,” said Eleonore Cavalli, Art Director for the brand, “a vertigo at the visual level, so rich in shade and contrast that it often becomes surprising, fluid and emotional, transporting us
by the poetry and the strength of the images”.

A luxury offering, therefore, that no longer exists only as an object of merit, but which finds, in the multi-sensory experience a well-being, an imaginative strength and conviviality. In response to the continually evolving market, the collection works for 900 sq. m, 15 rooms, or a loft with contemporary architecture, any space in which the new pieces can be brought to life. An eclectic selection able to transform the project in its entirety: from architectural elements to small furnishing details. A bespoke solution custom designed to interpret the dreams and aspirations of an international clientèle in pursuit of a complete home design and exclusively made-to-measure projects.

This year, collaborating designers are joined by new faces: Roberto Lazzeroni, Marco Piva, Armando Bruno, as well as previous collaborators such as Alessandro La Spada, Mauro Lipparini, Giuseppe Viganò, Fabio Bonfà, Maurizio Manzoni, Roberto Tapinassi and naturally, Steve Leung.
